Which vehicle should we choose as a fleet replacement?
Compare replacement candidates using lifecycle cost, availability risk, maintenance burden, utilization criticality, and safety.
From business evidence to an explained recommendation

Edit the fictional samples using your own consistent measurements.
Choose your priorities
Use balanced priorities or generate AHP weights from pairwise judgments. Weights express importance, not option performance.
Review the tradeoffs
Run the comparison, inspect the ranking and API response, then change a value and rerun.
Compare your options
Compare proposed replacement vehicles, not existing vehicles to retire. Use the same lifecycle horizon and currency for costs. Lower cost, downtime, and maintenance are preferred; higher utilization criticality and safety are preferred.
Samples are fictional and editable. Scores use 0โ100, percentages use 0โ100, and ratings use 1โ5. Use a common currency for monetary values. The recommendation supports human review; no operational action is taken.
Understand the inputs
- Lifecycle Cost: Represents the expected financial cost associated with the option. Lower lifecycle cost values generally improve affordability, profitability, and operational control. Lower values are preferred. Unit: Currency.
- Operational Availability Risk: Expected annual out-of-service days, used as the measurable basis of operational availability risk. Lower values are preferred. Unit: Days per Year.
- Maintenance Burden: Annual repair-event frequency used as a measurable indicator of recurring maintenance burden. Lower values are preferred. Unit: Events per Year.
- Utilization Criticality: Measures the utilization criticality associated with the option using the catalog's standardized resource / operational evaluation guidance. Higher values are preferred. Unit: Percentage.
- Safety Rating: Measures the quality, condition, reliability, or suitability of the option on a consistent evaluation scale. Higher safety rating values indicate a stronger option. Higher values are preferred. Unit: Rating.
